MAINLINE INTRODUCES OBD-II LOGGING TO ITS 2WDDyno AND AWDDyno

Demonstrating its commitment to remaining Australia's premier manufacturer of Chassis Dynamometers, Mainline Automotive Equipment has introduced an option to capture data in real time from a vehicle's OBD-II port and save the data along with data captured by the Dyno and the Data Acquisition and Weather Station Modules for future analysis and review.   

This provides the user with the ability to graph and analyse parameters such as Throttle Position, Mass Air Flow, Coolant Temperature, Ignition Timing, Inlet Air Temperature, Short and Long Term Fuel Trims, RPM, Manifold Pressure, Exhaust Gas Temperature, Engine Load and more.  All of the OBD-II data can be analysed in a table format or as a traditional graph along with the standard power, torque, torque-split, AFR and Boost data from the dynamometer.

MAINLINE'S LAUNCHES ITS NEW ALL WHEEL DRIVE DYNAMOMETER (AWDDyno)  

Mainline Automotive Equipment is producing its new All Wheel Drive Dynamometer at its Kingsgrove NSW factory.  Mainline had to expand its factory to more than double the previous size to accommodate production of the new dyno.  The AWD Dyno has attracted interest from most areas of Australia and also from many overseas countries.  

The AWDDyno was used for a DYNO CHALLENGE at the 2002 Auto Performance and Accessory Expo at Darling Harbour on 6 - 7 April 2002, and at the 2002 Auto Salon at Homebush Bay from 4 - 5 May 2002.  The AWDDyno was officially launched at the 26th Australian Automotive Trade Fair 2002 at Homebush Bay on 17 - 19 May 2002.

They currently sell in over 54 countries world wide, and Mainline is sure that the Ferret range of products will be well accepted by the Australian market.

MAINLINE WINS GOLD !

The MDX Chassis Dynamometer was awarded the gold award for the "Best New Servicing Product - Tools & Equipment" as judged by the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association" at the 25th Automotive Trade Fair, in Sydney recently. During the show, the MDXDYNO attracted many onlookers.

These onlookers were drawn to the stand to observe the regular running demonstrations. Judging by the market interest, and the gold award, the MDXDYNO will be one of the leading Australian made systems available. 

The MDXDYNO has been a three year project, in which many specialists were contracted to provide high quality services. The software was developed by Acquisition Control & Specialist Software (AC&SS), who played a major role in the units control and acquisition development. Many other specialist groups were consulted on this project, to provide quality service and components, and Mainline Automotive Equipment would like to extend its gratitude to all companies, and individuals, who  have contributed their services and components in making the MDX Chassis Dynamometer the winning product for 2001 Without the outstanding quality of their services, we would not be able to win such an award, and industry recognition.
