Ferret 73 Secondary Ignition KV Probe

Easy to Use

No multimeters to connect.  No dials to turn, and no adjustments to make.  Connect the ground lead to a good engine ground and press fit the KV clip over the spark plug or coil wire of your choice.  The Ferret 73's internal 9 volt battery eliminates the need for power leads.

No moving parts to wear out.  Flexes to fit over large diameter spark plug wires.

Versatile

The 73 can verify the operation of dual plug and capacitive discharge (CD) ignition systems, as well as Motorcycle and Marine ignition systems.

Polarity Indicator

Determines the firing polarity of a coil.  Diagnose improperly installed coils on distributor ignitions and assist in connecting large scopes to a DIS ignition system.

20 segment real time bar graph displays the KV measurements.
